    Each one of us has unique hobbies that we enjoy in our free hours: cooking, photography, or something more hands-on like tinting windows. Many people believe that window

Tinting is more of a hobby, but tinting can expand into a profitable remote side job while doing your regular work. It is in high demand because Arizona is a hot state where tint films reject heat from the sun in order to keep your car cooler. The demand for tinting cars is endless because Arizona is one of the states that need it. After all, it doesn't just add privacy but keeps your car cool in the long hot summer. It also makes your hobby an extra income for yourself while doing what you love, tinting is the perfect side job for you. 

What Made Me Interested in Window Tinting: 

       I got interested in window tinting after seeing how many people were seeking professional tinting for their cars, homes, and offices. What astonished me is how simple you can learn and how many ways it can be sold. For example, you can sell tinting cuts and include your own packages with all the tools necessary to tint windows for yourself and sell them on Amazon or Etsy. There is also the idea of making instructional classes that teach other tips and tricks about tinting windows. 

How To Do Your Own Marketing:

      A major perk of tinting as a side job or even a main job is that it doesn’t mean you need a shop. All you need is access to the internet, the tools, and knowledge about tinting. If you're either selling a product or providing a service everything is done remotely or driving to the customers. Remote capabilities mean freedom for you in your life, and you get to choose the dates that you want to do.

  • The best ways to market are by creating a blog or a social media page to share your tinting knowledge.
  • You can write step-by-step tutorials, tips, or even reviews on different tinting products to build an online community and attract interested customers to use your services.

Long Term:

       Another great aspect of turning tinting into a side job is the potential to build your own brand. Once you gain experience and grow your customers you can expand your services beyond instead of just selling products and tinting cars. An example, you could create a brand around professional window tinting and partner with many car dealerships or home renovation companies to promote your services. You could also offer subscription services where customers receive periodic tinting kits or products for their vehicles or homes. The most important part and the hardest is being able to create a name for yourself in this space, ultimately providing consistent business and growing your company.

        Therefore, tinting could be a hobby that can develop into an excellent work-from-home side job. Whether it's selling tinting kits, doing consultations, or even building a brand on your own.     Not gonna lie, I never considered something like window tinting to be a hobby. It's always been a business in my eyes. And every good tint company I've ever known, started as one person doing a good job. Most of them even kept it as a mobile business. People find it easier to fit those couple hours into their lives if they don't have to go out of their way.

    Not gonna lie, I might hit you at some point. I need to get my front windows redone. I've gotta fix the window motors first, though.
